NUS Appreciation Lunch for Professor Saw Swee Hock at the Istana

An appreciation lunch, hosted by NUS President Professor Shih Choon Fong, was held in honour of Professor Saw Swee Hock at the Istana on Monday 16 October 2006.

Professor Saw is NUS' largest individual benefactor, having made gifts of over $7 million to the University to date. His gifts have made possible bursaries, medals, professorships, and the establishment of the Saw Centre for Financial Studies at NUS Business School.

Amongst the guests who were present that afternoon include NUS Chancellor President S R Nathan and Mrs Nathan, members of Professor Saw's family, a few close Saw family friends, members of the NUS Board of Trustess and senior NUS administrators.
